*Ribinous* (or *ribinoù*) are tracks made of earth, stone, and grass, typical of the Pays de Léon in northern Finistère. Originally, these back lanes allowed locals to connect to main roads and bring in their livestock; they also served as links between farms.

 

The official Tro-Bro Léon has been featuring them for 30 years; they are what make this iconic Brittany race so renowned.

 

Well, there are some within the territory of the Cap Sizun – Pointe du Raz Community of Municipalities, too. Yes, indeed…

 

Thirteen laps are on the program for the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic, including three on the final circuit in Plouhinec (29). There is a significant total distance of unpaved road.

 

The trails are rated from one star (least difficult) to several stars (very difficult). Take special note of trail 7, named “Special Patrick”—one the girls will remember.
